Plan Your Visit

La Purisima Mission State Historic Park is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., seven days a week except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.

Free guided tours are conducted every day except during Special Events or Living History Days.  The tour begins at the Visitor Center at 1:00 p.m., and generally lasts 60 to 90 minutes. This map depicts the facility and general accessibility accommodations.

Self-guided tour maps are available for $1 at the entrance station, visitor center and the mission gift shop.

Visitor Center

The visitor center is a great place to begin your adventure into the past with a touch table, stunning exhibits and movie station depicting the layers of history found at La Purisima Mission State Historic Park.

Open Tuesday - Sunday  10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. / Mondays 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 

School Tours

Guided tours are available for schools and groups of 10 or more with at least a two-week advance reservation.

School groups, kindergarten through twelfth grade, are not charged an entrance fee when advance reservations have been made. Details are available on the Teachers page.

  • Private Vehicles - $6.00 / Seniors (63 and over) - $5.00
  • Buses - (10 to 24 Passengers) - $50.00
  • Buses - (25 or more Passengers) - $100.00
