Located between the Church and the Padres' Residence building, the Shops and Quarters building contains workshops and apartments. The workshops include the candle-making rooms, carpenter shop and weaving room. "El Cuartel" or the living quarters for the unmarried soldiers, is located at the south end of the building. This building also contains the residences of the families of the Corporal of the Guard, a married soldier, master weaver, and Mayordomo.
