Ranger-Led Hike

Last Day Hike at La Purisima Mission State Historic Park

Celebrate the last day of 2018 with an easy to moderate level ranger guided hike through La Purisima Mission’s back country. The ranger lead hike is suitable for beginners and will cover approximately 1.75 miles along the Artimisia and Santa Rita Mesa trail loop with some hill climb and soft sand. Learn about the Burton Mesa Chaparral and the creatures that call it home while enjoying beautiful views of Lompoc valley, Purisima Hills and the historic Mission grounds. Older children (able to walk / hike 2 miles), adults & people friendly dogs welcome (strollers not recommended on soft sand and narrow trails). Hike will happen rain or shine.
